And it's really simple, really cheap. really need is plumber's tape and maybe a monkey wrench. If you need a monkey wrench or a pipe

wrench, you're going to probably have to replace the pipe that comes down because you're going to scar it

unless that's not a big issue for you. And the leak is more of an issue than a scarred pipe

We didn't have to move the exhaust. We didn't have to jack up

We didn't have to do anything. Look at that. So the shower hang is leaking and the tools you'll need to fix this is a pipe wrench maybe

and some plumber stick. Pretty much if you have a leaky shower if it's leaking around the pipe or around the

head all you have to do is take that off, put some plumber stick on and put it back on

This is the shower scene. Right here I going to turn this You see they have this tilted way far over What they did was they just kept tightening it and then they just filled this back area with caulk to hopefully prevent it from leaking So they kept they made a mess here and it still leaks

So let's turn it on. And that's how it is. It leaks all down the wall and it's not leaking the backside so of course we'd have to take that drywall and that would suck

But this is pretty easy to fix. So you may be able to twist this off by hand, which I can

But if you can't do that with a pipe wrench, use it close to be gentle

Try not to gouge up your pipe because you'll have to replace this if they've

tightened it too tight. You should only need to hand tighten these. So turn it off

And I might have to fix this other part later. And as you see there is no plumber's tape on them threads so we're gonna have to fix this

So with my plumber's tape just open it up and you're gonna have to get this started because

plumber's tape is not sticky and once it overlaps it will hold itself in place

And you can be probably pretty liberal with this because you're going to hand

tighten it and pull too hard and when you're putting this plumber's tape in it

will actually make a really tight sail. As you see here I didn't go over here

where you'll see it in the shower. That works. So let me go ahead and put this on

And if you don have enough the first time you can always take it off and do it again

Might fix all that. That looks gross. So I'm going to take this apart again, but this you get

And there's no leak. So that's sealed it right up. Now I just have to go back with some caulk and fill
