so we're leaving rat K baby's up there
0:04
finishing tying down the
0:06
anchor and this is the Anchorage we
0:10
leaving it did well for this little
0:12
storm that came through this little wind
0:14
storm yeah we only got uh wind during
0:18
the last part of it so babe what did you
0:21
think of a green turtle
0:23
k we're not there yet I'm sorry what do
0:27
you think of rat k it's a nice place to
0:31
hunker down for some horrible winds and
0:34
waves that we had yesterday was
0:37
pretty that was not
0:40
fun but uh the only reason why we stay
0:44
in these these little hunker down areas
0:46
so long is because we get stuck
0:49
here like we're intending to hide out
0:52
for like one night of something and then
0:55
a whole 3 days comes along and I'm just
0:57
like okay when is this going to end
1:00
and so yeah we weren't supposed to be
1:03
here that long now we're going to green
1:05
turtle green turtle it's going to be a
1:07
it's only like 3 minutes an hour there
1:09
depending on how fast we go but uh right
1:12
now we're barely moving and there's
1:14
about think three other boats that
1:16
already left everybody's leaving yeah so
1:18
this was a lot of boats hit out here so
1:20
it was a good place to hide mhm but uh
1:23
we'll uh see you in uh Green Turtle
1:25
maybe I'll bring you back if we do a
1:27
little sailing or something I don't know
1:31
hard say yes so we don't have quite
1:35
enough wind to sell but uh we are moving
1:38
and my babe's over here she's enjoying
1:40
her
1:44
friends but uh yeah we'll get there in a
1:47
minute and uh actually about 25 minutes
1:50
but it was not a very big hop and uh
1:55
probably fold back up to sale with only
1:57
25 minutes left to go so
2:00
or FR in it's a roller fer so just F in
2:04
but and now the wind picks up look at
2:06
that oh now we're moving cooking with
2:12
grease yeah there's a lot of waves over
2:14
there on the alac all you proba so there
2:17
is green turtle
2:19
k and a lot of boats out moving around
2:23
today
2:25
so yeah it's a beautiful day though
2:30
so my babe has dropped the anchor it's
2:32
way over
2:34
there and uh we're in about 8 foot
2:38
are so how many uh colors do we go out
2:44
uh three three so that's
2:46
60 so it's a almost a 6 to1 Scope when I
2:51
get the SN on there it' be a lot there
2:54
but we are now in turtle k looking for
2:57
turtles
3:00
it's a definitely a town around here yes
3:02
it
3:03
is nice houses yep it's I still don't
3:06
know where the town is though it's over
3:08
there oh that's yeah and and over
3:12
there so there's town on both sides this
3:15
is a k right here it goes up and it's
3:18
too shallow for us over there there's a
3:20
k too shallow for
3:22
us so we are anchored and snubber is set
3:26
it's way down there this is nice oh
3:31
yeah and there's my babe right
3:35
there so we're getting off the boat in
3:37
Green
3:38
Turtle got the Romantic job of getting
3:42
fuel and my babe's going to get off the
3:45
boat with us and our puppy but uh yeah
3:51
civilization and let me show you the
3:53
Chariot that awaits us so there's our
3:56
Chariot it's full of fuel cans
4:01
where she how did she get up there she
4:03
stretched her way all the
4:07
way so yep the dog's ready to get off
4:12
the boat too right Bella where's the
4:14
fu and we're off and there she goes in
4:17
the
4:19
distance babe water is insane yeah it is
4:24
really clear like cool water uh-huh
4:30
but uh think she wants to try out that
4:33
beach over there but we have to go all
4:35
the way over there for I guess the
4:38
restaurants yeah we not do that
4:45
no so we had friends try to go up there
4:48
in this
4:50
boat here yeah and they uh they got
4:54
stuck I don't know if we would have
4:56
tried that
5:00
so this looks pretty shallow some other
5:03
another geny racing around in
5:05
here see how shallow this is we kick out
5:08
of dirt I don't see any dirt coming
5:22
up uh Chanel markers baby oh yeah
5:29
don't see that during the
5:33
day
5:36
yep and Diesel is right over there at
5:40
the
5:44
end okay so this was a nice little fuel
5:46
dock really uh convenient and uh yeah
5:52
tie up it was a a struggle to get on the
5:55
V and off the Vy but yeah it was still
5:58
there it was convenient for behind
6:01
that's what did you think
6:03
babe
6:06
done they haven't been able to since
6:09
we've been in the Bahamas we have not
6:12
ran across the store really you know
6:14
nothing
6:16
really and um for some reason I've been
6:20
craving gummies I guess it's when you
6:22
can't have
6:23
something and so I walked in there and I
6:26
was like two
6:29
boogo
6:31
gumy and now we're out out of here so
6:35
it's a good little Hall and uh with all
6:38
this fuel we're definitely not going to
6:40
go
6:42
fast okay guys so we're going to
6:45
ahead we're going to head this
6:47
way okay so now I got to turn this in
6:50
the right direction so we're heading to
6:52
the beach where uh you see all the
6:54
YouTubers doing that swing
6:57
thing but there's people on it so we're
7:00
going to go might not be able to get on
7:02
it yeah but we're still going to go to
7:04
that beach I don't care about the
7:09
swing so we changed our mind we're not
7:12
going to that beach over there we're
7:14
going over there it's more private
7:19
please w we have a
7:21
dog and there's people over there I mean
7:24
she's good with people but she'll just
7:25
sit there and park and one an entire
7:28
time cuz she wants to
7:30
we still got a kill we didn't hit
7:32
something the foro yes we still have a
7:34
kill babe only have a half a
7:39
Kill made it to our private beach
7:43
Oasis white
7:45
sand what what babe people in they damn
7:49
garbage oh
7:53
yeah yeah the ding is uh pretty
7:57
much on the ground over here
8:00
we're out here so our boat's out
8:06
there and uh yeah it's
8:11
nice the boats are out here racing each
8:15
other and my wife is explaining the
8:20
sand it's cool it's actually kind of
8:26
[Music]
8:27
cold my bab's getting waved she wasn't
8:30
expecting
8:40
that yes my babe and Bella explore the
8:44
Wilderness of bahaman
8:47
islands she so bad wants to go in
8:51
there we would never hear again
8:55
nope but she's been marking her
8:58
territory this whole island is
9:03
Bellis L of
9:07
mangroves pine trees I don't know what
9:10
kind of trees they look like they're
9:12
well they're they're piny like I know
9:15
the other oh I don't
9:19
know but no trees in in Bahamas are
9:23
tall I guess unless you planted
9:27
it cuz there's some houses over there
9:30
with big palm trees oh yeah and like
9:33
they must have
9:34
[Music]
9:39
find well we're up in here let me go
9:43
widescreen and it looks like somebody's
9:45
been reiking up in here it's cleaned
9:50
up and it's got these little oh these
9:53
little green and purple
9:55
plants we planted them in our yard once
9:59
didn't like
10:02
it and my bab's out there on the beach
10:05
let's getting closer there's my
10:08
babe let's see if I can get the yeah
10:13
that may be a thumbnail right
10:16
there got our boat in the background I
10:19
think yeah boat babe and yeah that's
10:24
perfect okay there's all these little
10:26
holes in the in the in the seaf Flor
10:29
here
10:30
and uh the little crabs and I was uh
10:33
she's like being all nice about it she's
10:36
like oh look there's
10:38
one she's I was looking behind her I saw
10:41
one and I was like talking and he goes
10:44
oh there's
10:46
one fre me
10:49
[Laughter]
10:52
out cly Hey babe there's a
10:55
c there's one I thought it was like by
10:59
my foot going to take off a toe they're
11:01
not that
11:02
big well cut my toe there's no
11:07
[Laughter]
11:10
doctor what did you find there
11:15
babe looks like a but it's got a hole in
11:17
it so that makes me think that something
11:20
attacked it uh or it was a conch living
11:25
in there and
11:26
they uh conqu Liv in that we con getting
11:32
that came off the coral yeah if y'all
11:35
know what that is tell us cuz we don't
11:37
we don't know about the ocean it
11:39
might have come off the coral I mean
11:41
there's a isn't there a hug what yeah
11:45
somewhere out and yeah we were just
11:46
crossing to get here to yeah and there's
11:50
Green Turtle hug huge waves crashing on
11:53
it and I'm like okay we're not going
11:55
over
11:57
that well we do have to go on that when
11:59
we want to go to uh Marsh that yeah we
12:03
have to we have to go out a little bit
12:06
through the reof not through the reef
12:08
yeah we're not going through the reef
12:10
that looks a little
12:12
dangerous there's a cut over there yeah
12:15
there's a lot of motorboats around
12:24
here okay this is a great little beach
12:28
but pull up anchor this is the first
12:30
time we actually use this
12:33
anchor very easy to
12:44
use look at how close our Rudder is to
12:47
the ground here we're in about 8 full of
12:50
water it's deceiving yes but it's
12:53
probably a foot that maybe oh probably a
12:56
couple feet we're in 8ot water probably
12:59
a three foot yeah the water I'm not
13:03
recording but yeah the she's she was
13:06
just talking about floating behind the
13:08
boats she says there's no fish no
13:11
there's no nothing I don't see there's
13:12
no turtles there's no fish there's no
13:14
sharks there's no nothing I don't know
13:17
where they live but they don't live
13:19
around my
13:20
boat I'm like that would be fun to just
13:22
to float on the back of our boat yeah
13:25
the water's a little chilly though yeah
13:27
but in the sun it would be nice yeah but
13:31
uh we're going to go to the south side
13:33
of Green Turtle got to get a little
13:35
grocery shopping explore the town a
13:37
little bit see what's out there and uh
13:40
cuz tomorrow we're probably going to be
13:42
moving again so I think we're going to
13:44
go to treasure K tomorrow that'll be fun
13:48
but yeah we're we're low on
13:51
veggies my bab blacks are
13:56
veggies looking down in that water my
13:59
gosh that is
14:03
clear if you're standing up you can see
14:06
a lot more I'm guessing that's why
14:08
fishing boats have such a high fly
14:11
bridge that right
14:17
baby so this is the south
14:21
side of Green
14:23
Turtle and there saell Tower right there
14:26
we're getting pretty good sail reception
14:28
and boats go up in there too we can't
14:30
put in there either but there's my
14:34
baby and uh you come in here it's pretty
14:37
shallow on this one side so you want to
14:40
go in between these pylons or you won't
14:42
make
14:46
it so after you make it through the
14:48
pylons you'll go over here and you can
14:52
just dock up right there there's even a
14:56
beach and look at all that grass down
14:59
there looks like you're touching it yeah
15:02
but uh
15:04
yeah pull up in here and uh get our
15:08
groceries on of course I'm might to stay
15:11
outside with the
15:13
dog they have
15:16
yeah and right there is the grocery
15:20
dock
15:22
so and the grocery store there be two
15:24
more stores here but I think they might
15:27
be closed probably
15:30
today is uh Thursday though no I mean
15:33
like close permanently oh okay sure well
15:37
we're going at Ramy speed to the grocery
15:39
dock we'll slow down here in a
15:44
minute okay so I have Bella draging me
15:47
here's a coffee shop right there and
15:50
there's Curry Sunset Grocery
15:54
Store
15:56
and babe is looking
15:59
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I have breakfast
16:02
oh
16:03
wow
16:06
B I have no idea time it is 12 an ice
16:13
latte slightly cheaper than Starbucks I
16:18
didn't want to say their name I don't
16:21
deserve but yeah my babe just checked
16:24
out I thought it was right here at the
16:27
sidewalk but yeah she checked out the
16:29
grocery store uh they said fish was a
16:31
good price uh didn't seem like that but
16:35
I don't know $38 for grouper seems a bit
16:38
high but we're going Sundowners opens at
16:41
5:00 p.m. yeah it's our friends told us
16:43
to check out Sundowners which is right
16:45
here so we'll have to probably get there
16:49
and that they were it wasn't 5 when we
16:53
went over to
16:54
Pineapple okay guys we had a great time
16:57
this little bar out here what's this bar
16:59
called pineapple something I don't even
17:01
know but yeah this is awesome guys it
17:03
was 330 yeah pineapple uh I guess yeah
17:07
five is a little late I don't know if I
17:09
want to be out that late well it's it's
17:12
that and then you got to find your got
17:14
try to find your boat yeah so but we're
17:18
going to go check out SIDS and uh that
17:20
was uh Curry's so not that I wasn't
17:23
going to purchase anything there I'm
17:24
just doing my runarounds make sure and
17:27
when're you're trying not to get ran
17:29
over oh look at that there's the
17:32
ocean this way yeah I think
17:34
so I'm giving her too much yep I'm pull
17:37
her in too much time there's a lot of
17:39
traffic
17:41
here so there's a view of the ocean
17:44
right there it's not hot on my no it's
17:46
not hot on hers but my gosh the traffic
17:50
is bad
17:59
see that is SIDS right here
18:02
baby
18:06
SIDS okay guys so back there you have
18:10
two grocery stores curries and uh SIDS a
18:13
liquor
18:14
store you have something right here
18:17
that's a Island
18:19
Rentals so you get your vacation home
18:21
here and then there's supposed to be a
18:23
museum down this way so we'll look see
18:27
what's down here so I guess uh this is
18:30
some place that I should be familiar
18:32
with the
18:33
clinic for all my scrapes cuts and
18:37
bruises
18:40
[Music]
18:42
yeah this is interesting sculpture
18:46
garden want to go check out yes she's
18:48
going to go check
18:51
out so the landing
18:54
[Laughter]
19:00
yeah I'm guessing these are all the
19:02
early Sailors
19:04
to uh this
19:09
island you dying again you won't drink
19:13
water what's wrong with
19:15
you so the American Loyalist divided by
19:19
the Civil War defeated in
19:22
battle strips stri of property and
19:27
positions oh wow
19:29
mhm lot of history lot history and
19:32
sadness in that yeah I don't even think
19:34
you can read these plaques very well now
19:36
they kind of hard to read
19:38
mhm here is uh New Plymouth Church
19:43
so looks nice and
19:47
clean think we're going to get our
19:49
grocery shopping on and may get this
19:52
girl a
19:53
coffee check out that Starbucks coffee
19:56
it's not Starbucks it's cheaper
20:02
sort of sort of yeah so my babe just got
20:06
groceries from SIDS we got some eggs
20:09
eggs AE of lettuce and some flour
20:11
tortillas for
20:12
$22
20:14
yay that's uh K spendy I think I think
20:17
we're going to have
20:18
to uh hop back over to the United States
20:22
we can't AFF bomas Foxtown was a little
20:25
cheaper than uh here we don't really
20:28
need groceries but if I can pick up on
20:30
some eggs or when I can find them um
20:34
because actually the eggs weren't that
20:36
much more expensive than the
20:37
US yeah cuz what we're running out of
20:40
mostly fastest is veggies and eggs and
20:45
um we're good on meat for now we're good
20:47
on canned goods I don't even know if I'd
20:49
want to buy canned goods here oh my gosh
20:52
I don't even know I don't even know but
20:54
look at that view
20:56
guys yeah I guess that's kind of down
20:59
that's not the pretty view that's not
21:00
the pretty view but still there's palm
21:01
trees in the background there
21:05
yeah color of these houses are just
21:08
ridiculous it's awesome I know it's like
21:12
pink and blue and green hate my house
21:14
purple I don't care what my neighbor
21:17
says yep but let me get off
21:21
here my wife's not sure we can afford a
21:24
coffee after getting
21:27
groceries was a $40 on yeah this was $18
21:32
$18 for tomato and
21:38
potatoes and uh thank God we provisioned
21:41
a lot before we came here yes because
21:44
these little islands are great to stop
21:47
at and they're pretty and everything but
21:50
you don't want a grocery shop here we've
21:52
already spent over $100 on food between
21:54
Foxtown and
21:56
here and then then the fuel we bought
22:00
yeah racking it up a couple from last
22:03
night looks like it I thought they left
22:06
I did too guess I
22:10
didn't I'm sure yeah I'm so my wife said
22:16
broke down and we're going to treat
22:17
ourselves I have not had an ice
22:22
and since I
22:25
boycotted the Bucks
22:29
but
22:30
here's yeah I'm I'm have cappuccino
22:33
espresso americanos I'm going have a
22:35
mango
22:36
smoothie I've already had uh almost
22:40
three cups of coffee this
22:43
morning mine's coming with mocha and
22:46
whipped cream I just went all out I was
22:48
like sure sugar it up
22:51
baby but when you're at Green Turtle K
22:54
you got to give uh Calypso a shot for
22:57
some cool beverages
22:59
and some creamy
23:01
coffees and of course you'll have your
23:04
fair share of traffic this this island
23:07
has more traffic than I've seen in a
23:11
while it's a lot of the um golf CRS yeah
23:14
it's just a ton of
23:16
traffic and I told you we should have
23:18
pulled up to a beach there it would have
23:20
been
23:21
easier well you can go get it drag it
23:25
over and then I'll just step right on
23:27
okay
23:29

23:30
deal but uh yeah let's get okay ready y

23:50

23:57

23:59

24:02
that so I don't have a paper straw but
24:05
I'm
24:06

24:09
