Okay guys, today we are fixing this. We're showing you how we fix this and we're using this
0:08
I'm guessing as billet tools or billet tools, but I'll leave the link down below. It's actually a really decent kit
0:17
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah, billy tools. So I'll leave a link down because it's not a bad toolkit. It comes with pretty much everything you need
0:29
except for I used the crescent wrench to do the tapping and I use the drill because it comes
0:37
with the right size drill bit but after you open the box it's this is for the 8 mil
0:44
you can get this in many different sizes then it comes with directions now the directions
0:51
they give you a great order of operations on how you're going to use this tool and I've
0:58
done this before I actually used I had to tap a I had to put a helix cool in a
1:05
turbo engine because I blew a spark plug right on the top of it works really good
1:10
this actually that must have been before we met no no it wasn't it was the uh the uh
1:17
turbo meata you did that in the audit yeah i had to fix that how we had to get fixed yes
1:23
you did that no no i i know not not the not me spinning the main bearing but the my bluest spark plug out yeah yeah so
1:35
I didn't all I used this before on that and other things and this this this
1:41
these work really good there they seem to be especially stronger than this
1:48
this light bar because it's from China the metal in it is very measurable and it just
1:53
stripped out so this seems to be way stronger than the original
1:58
Now if you open this kit up, it comes with your helix cool
2:06
They have basically these are the what threads in, but first you want to start out with the
2:12
drill bit, which it comes with, then you'll tap it, then you'll stick it in with this tool
2:18
all in the video, and then you'll break off the little tip so the the bulk can go right past it
2:26
with this tool and a hammer. So it also doesn't come with a hammer. So hopefully you have a hammer
2:33
Yeah. Well, I'll leave all the links down below for, you know, I have the drill I love to use
2:40
and it's Milwaukee because it has the mellow gears. But I'll leave tools down below
2:46
If you have the tools, that's great. You're all, you're one step ahead
2:50
But let's get in this video and let's show you how this actually works
2:56
Turn out on the top. Oh, my God, weird
3:10
It's a 16-year plan. We've got not a... You keep wiping the cheap
3:18
Not everything. The whole floor on here. I can set that Okay we didn have to move the exhaust We have have to jack up We didn have to do anything
3:41
Currently, we have this held on with just tie racks to keep it from moving
3:48
So, yeah. Good thing to have. if you're out driving your jeep, probably have tie wraps and some kind of wire that you can tie
3:56
things back on as you shake you apart. But we're going to go ahead and clip these off
4:02
Just take a pair of dikes. And you'll see that this screw, it's binded in there, but it'll only turn so far. So I'm going
4:17
to go ahead and back this out. Okay, so that's... and I'll set this up here like that. Yeah, if you look in there you can see how
4:28
buggered up than threads are so it's pretty deep but it looks kind of wallered out
4:35
there at the end so hopefully this gets big enough. Okay so I have the bolt here
4:41
I'm going to take and check the threads and that threads on just nicely right there
4:48
So once I have it out I'll take the provided drill a bit and I will drill it in
5:09
Okay, now that I have a surface to tap. So once I have to drill down, I'm going to take third tap tool
5:16
I'm going to take a crescent wrench. Make sure it size it correctly
5:19
so I can turn it. You've got to be very smooth when you're turning this
5:26
So we'll get it started right here. Make sure it goes in straight
5:36
Okay, there it goes. It's catching. And then back out. You may have to do this a few times
6:11
And you'll see you, we have to do this a few times
6:23
And you'll see we have some cutting going on there. We haven't threaded near far enough
6:38
Okay, and when you reach the bottom, it should pretty much stop
6:44
You can't turn it anymore. And then you want to remove it be careful because this thing is a heart metal and it cutting threads and metal
7:01
So I went back and forward probably about three times. Yeah, I only did three times. So
7:19
we went about that deep in there. So that should be pretty good
7:29
And yeah, I did put a piece of towel down to protect the top of the Jeep
7:36
But if you look in that hole, it's pretty dirty down there
7:43
And now we're going to blow it. Now once you're ready to put this in
7:47
you'll just take and use the tool they provide and just put it on like that and then go right here and just screw in just like a bolt
7:59
Now this helix skull, once you start screwing in it will not come out
8:05
And then you pull it out. Oh that was hard. And now you'll see the helix skull is all the way down there at the bottom
8:18
Now we're going to break off that tip so the screw can go all the way to bump
8:26
Now we're going to take the breaking tool and a hammer and we're just going to break the else
8:39
There's a little cut in there so it should break off when it's hit with a hammer, that breaking tool
8:45
Okay, so here's our bolt and it threads in just like you
8:55
Okay, so now I got me a washer and a lock washer
8:59
I thought my bolt and then put that through here. I'm gonna tighten it down
9:45
That is not going anywhere. That's locked tight
9:57
So as you can see from the front here, this is the gaps all sealed up and that thing's closed down
10:03
And that's about all the torque I can put up this little wrench, which is good for the
10:09
light bar. Yelma over torque it. But I got a lock nut, washer, and then the threads in here
10:15
but that light bar is stolen Not moving That good Okay so got the light bar installed Really strong
10:29
Actually after I did this, our son jumped in here with his friends and they went off trailing
10:35
and stuff. She has the Snapchat evidence. I followed my kid on Snapchat
10:42
So yeah, worked really well and the light bar doesn't. it's moving more of course it was held with uh um zip ties that's probably not a efficient way to hold it
10:56
but well why did we fix it it's because we took the jeep out and we were going down the road it was like
11:02
and i was like oh my gosh it's going to blow off we've got to fix this what is wrong with it
11:08
yeah well his friend was it sitting there when you at school parking lot he would just flip it up down up
11:17
down. They were all doing cranks on each other. Yeah, so he basically stripped out of threads
11:23
Which they weren't good threads anyway, because if you watched the video, you saw that it was
11:28
really soft metal to drill through. When I torped it down with the helix end cooling, I could really torque down on that
11:35
no problem. And so that's all fixed. And if you have really any bolt tissues, even spark plugs or whatever, this is a great way
11:45
to get that rectified. And after all that I'm guessing But But
11:51
I'll do it Yeah It worked Yes She had this Over there
11:56
With no music On watching me do this But Also she was cooking
12:04
She was cooking Some great food In there In the kitchen And Y'all need to go
12:08
Check out This girl's recipes I don't think The one I was
12:12
Cooking the other day Was out yet No It was delicious And that may be a..
12:20
It's not yet. Yeah, because that would be a great recipe. Oh my gosh, it was so good
